University of Maryland Eastern Shore has been serving the Delmarva Peninsula's Black community since 1886. The Hawks carry maroon and gray through Princess Anne and through generations of graduates who came up from the Eastern Shore and went out into the world ready. UMES has been building steadily for over 135 years, and the results are in every community the school has touched.
Shop the UMES collection at DungeonForward for hoodies, sweatshirts, and tees made for Hawks who wear their school with conviction. MEAC competition, Princess Anne homecoming, and the distinctive pride of representing a school embedded in a tight-knit coastal community. UMES alumni know the Eastern Shore bond and carry it with them long after graduation. This collection was built for those moments when Hawks come together.
Founded in 1886, UMES has been serving the Delmarva Peninsula for over 135 years. The university's programs in agriculture, food science, and the natural sciences have made direct contributions to the region's economy and to Black land stewardship on the Shore. The Hawks have been doing important work in an often-overlooked corner of Maryland, and that work has mattered.
DungeonForward is a Black-owned headwear and apparel brand rooted in HBCU culture and storytelling-driven design. Every UMES piece in this collection was designed to honor a university that has served its community with quiet consistency for over a century. A portion of every HBCU collection purchase supports HBCU scholarships. Crowns For The Culture means we show up for the schools that showed up for their communities.
Crown Yourself. Go Hawks.
