The Yard - Morehouse College

Morehouse College is the world's only historically Black liberal arts college for men. Founded in 1867 in Atlanta, Morehouse has produced a standard of scholarship, leadership, and brotherhood that is recognized globally. Martin Luther King Jr., Spike Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jeh Johnson all walked the Morehouse yard before they went on to shape their fields. The Maroon Tigers carry that standard into every generation.

Morehouse homecoming in the Atlanta University Center is one of the most anticipated HBCU events every fall. Founded in 1867, Morehouse has been producing Morehouse Men for over 155 years. The school's alumni have argued before the Supreme Court, led movements, directed films, written legislation, performed on Broadway, and built companies. More Black male physicians and lawyers trace their undergraduate degree to Morehouse than to any other institution in the country. The Maroon Tigers have always understood what excellence looks like.
